Your Dashboard is composed of widgets- these are collapsible segments that provide you with quick information about different areas of your system. You can collapse the information that widgets display by clicking on the arrow in the top right corner of the title box.
Change Password
The green gear icon in the top right of you screen allows you to configure your dashboard and change your password. The most recent password reset date and time will appear here. Click "Change Password" and enter your current and desired new password to change.
Update Notification
If this setting is enabled you will see a pop up listing any updates, enhancements or improvements made within the prior two months. You can acknowledge you have read them which will prevent those particular updates from appearing again.
You can control the popup display by toggling between Enabled and Disabled. If you change it to Disabled you will never see a pop up with the recent updates.
You will always be able to see the most recent updates by clicking the orange computer icon at the top of any screen.
Configuring Your Dashboard
You can customize your Dashboard by configuring which widgets you see and which are hidden. Click the green gear in the top right of your screen to configure your widgets. You will be taken to a screen, where you can simply drag and drop available widgets (from the left column) into your displayed widgets column (on the right). Your displayed widgets will be shown on your Dashboard in the order you arrange them in the right column. Click "Update" to save your changes.

Configuring Your Widgets
Some widgets can be configured to save default view settings. By selecting the gear icon in the upper right section of the widget, you will be able to set sorting and view settings. These configurations are specific to each user, so they can set the widget to show the information they would like. Additionally, these widgets have the ability to create a CSV or PDF of the table contents by selecting the appropriate button next to the gear icon.

Company Message
Administrator level users can update your Company Message at Admin > Company Maintenance > Company Message for Dashboard Widget. This message will show up for all users that have the widget enabled on their dashboard.
Company Photo
Administrator level users can update the company photo that appears at Admin > Company Maintenance Company Photo for Dashboard Widget.
Cremations in Progress (or Pet Cremations in Progress/Aquamations in Progress)
The Cremations In Progress widget will show the number of cremations in progress in a green icon next to its name in the title bar. The date and time that the widget's information was most recently updated will be shown. There is a search bar available that will let you search for cases- the CSV/PDF icons next to the search bar will allow you to export the data shown in the widget. Rush cremations or cremations that have past due dates will display in red and will flash occasionally to alert the user. Color-coded icons showing you the case status will show in the right column.
Click the case's name or the tracking icon to be taken to the client's location on your Tracking screen.
Clicking the edit icon will take you to the Case Overview, where you can edit information about the case.
Partner Requests
The Partner Requests widget will show your trade partners' removal/delivery requests. The total number of requests will be shown in a green icon in the widget's title bar. The date and time that the widget's information was most recently updated will be shown. Clicking the Show Map button will display an interactive map with pins on the partners' place of business. The name of the Partner that made the request, the decedent name, and other information will display in the table for this widget.
When a partner adds a request it will appear in this widget. The action buttons will depend on the status of the request and, if a pet partner, the Removal Frequency settings (either "As Notified" or "Scheduled Removals") for that partner. See the help document for the Partner Portal for more information. If every one of your partners are configured for Schedule Removals you will not see the table columns for Requested and Confirmed since they are not relevant if none of your partners can requested a removal date/time.
For human removals and for pets partners that have been configured for Removals "As Notified", you will initially see an Acknowledge button. Clicking that will notify the partner that you are aware of their request but have not gained custody of the body yet. The status will change to either Log Delivery or Log Removal.
For Pet Partners that have been configured for "Scheduled Removals" you will not need to perform the step of Acknowledging the request and will always and only see either the Log Removal or Log Delivery button.
When clicking the Log Delivery or Log Removal you will have the option to log only the delivery/removal date and time, or you can choose to log the delivery/removal and add the case in your system. If you choose to log only the date and time, you must manually enter the case via Case > Add Case. You would typically only chose this option if you have previously added the case. The majority of the time you should select the Log and Add Case!
If you choose to log the request and add the case, you will be taken to the Add Case screen which will be pre-filled with the information entered in the request by pet partner's.
If you have made the "On Hold" field accessible to your partners and the partner has placed the request on hold via their portal you will see "Partner Hold" icon.
You will not be able to add that request as a case until the partner removes the hold.
Special Notification Fields for Partner Requests: Pacemaker and Infectious Disease Details
There are two special fields named “Pacemaker?” and ”Infectious Disease Details” that you may choose to make visible and accessible via you Admin > Screen Customizations. Additional notifications will appear if the existence of a Pacemaker has been indicated or data has been entered in the Infectious Disease Details.
The Partner Request widget will display the information in the Notes area.
When the request is selected for acceptance the confirmation screen will also show the special information. This information will also be prominently displayed on certain forms and also in any text and/or email request notifications.
Price Groups
When you create a Price Group you have the option to request the selection of an urn. If an urn has not been selected yet you will see a status of "Missing Urn Selection". This is informational only. You will still be able to accept the request and later add an urn via the Purchases screen.
Calendar
The Calendar widget populates with the events that are entered via the Services tab, as well as any appointments added via the Appointments menu option.
The Calendar widget is available in both half and full size.
You can choose to view the Calendar in either calendar or list mode by clicking the corresponding buttons available in the widget.
Click the arrows to the left or right of the date to adjust the calendar view. Dates with appointments will be marked with a blue icon in the corner. You can hover over the date to see a quick view of the appointments and their times. Clicking on the date will take you to a detailed view of the Appointment, where you can click "Show Map" to display the appointment's location on an interactive map.
In list view, the calendar will show all appointments from the previous month and all future appointments.
Clicking on an appointment from list view will take you to its detailed view, described above.
Tasks
The tasks widget will show upcoming tasks, as well as all tasks from the last 30 days. You may filter the list by clicking the blue buttons on the left. You may also email yourself (the currently logged in user) a list of uncompleted tasks. In order to modify or mark task(s) as completed simply click on the table row and you will be taken to the Overview page for that case where you can perform maintenance functions for that client's tasks. See the documentation for the Overview page for more information.
Search by Name or Phone Number
Enable this widget to quickly search for cases by name or phone number on your dashboard.
Halcyon Announcements
This widget will display the most recent Halcyon Announcement- we update this with news and updates periodically.
Tips and Tricks
Tips and Tricks is a widget that will populate with tips and tricks from Halcyon. Tips and tricks can include some interesting features that you might not be taking advantage of in your system or different ways to increase productivity using Platinum.
Daily Schedule
The daily schedule widget displays tasks (from the Case Overview tab) and gatherings (from the Services tab) and appointments for the current date. You can adjust the date by selecting the arrows to go backwards and forwards. Click "Go to Today" to jump back to today's date. The Daily Schedule widget is available for Bulletin Board user access. See the Staff Login Maintenance section of this help manual for more information about Bulletin Board users.
Upcoming Gatherings
The Upcoming Gathering widget displays all gatherings (from the Services tab) scheduled within the next 7 days. The Decedent's Name and the Gathering Type are always shown. Click the Configure button in the upper right hand corner of the widget to display Funeral Director, Staff and Participant Assignments, Disposition Type, Arrangement Date and Time, and Notes.
