Administrator level users can change the case number for an existing case at Admin > Case Maintenance > Change Case's Case Number. There are other options in here such as inactivating a case and resetting inactive status for those cases.
Enter the current case number in the space provided as well as the new case number in the following space and click "Change Case Number".
Each of the transfer and case status actions also have options to reset them if set by mistake. Halcyon will never completely delete a case- rather, they can be marked as inactive/voided. This allows us to retain all historical information and distinguish between inactive and voided preneeds. If you entered a preneed by mistake, you should inactivate it. If the preneed was actually voided or transferred, you should set the appropriate status so we can accurately create preneed status reports.
