If you have the Premium Messaging option available you will have the ability to notify your staff via their preferred messaging methods (email and/or text) when they have been assigned a task or if one of their assigned tasks has been modified. See the article on Staff Maintenance and Security for more information on setting up messaging preferences for your staff.
Administrator level uses can enable the task notification feature on the Admin > Miscellaneous > Notification Settings > Task Notifications screen by clicking the status toggle and settings the desired task notification preference.
