Limit Note Deletion

There is an option on the Admin menu named "Limit Note Deletion".  If enabled, only the user that originally entered the note will be able to delete the note. If not enabled, any user may delete any note. The delete limitation will be in effect for notes added AFTER this feature is initially enabled.

Regardless of this setting, all deleted notes will appear when "Show Deleted Notes" is clicked in the Notes section of the Overview screen.

IF DELETE LIMITATION IS NOT ENABLED:

Any note may be deleted regardless of which user initially entered the note.

IF DELETE LIMITATION IS ENABLED:

For notes added after the delete limitation was enabled:
You will either see a "trash can" icon or a "circle with a line through" icon.  If you see that trash can icon that indicates that you are able to remove this note.  If you see the circle icon that means that someone else added this note and only that user may delete it.  Click Show History to see which user initially added the note.

 

For notes added BEFORE the delete limitation was enabled: When attempting to delete a note in these situations, a warning message will appear but you will still be able to remove the note.
