The Setup > utilities > Create Decedent QR Code Labels page will allow you to generate Tracking QR codes that are linked to a decedent. Your last assigned QR code will display so you are able to use them sequentially if you wish.
Enter the First number that you would like to start your QR Codes with. Then, enter the Count (number of labels you are making). Enter the copies desired per tracking number.
For example: Assume you want to print labels for 5 different QR Codes starting with QR Code = 10 through QR Code = 15 and you want 2 copies of each QR code. (10,10,11,11...15, 15.) Enter 10 as the "First Number:" (Tip: Do not use commas in your numbers.) Enter 5 as the "Count" and enter 2 as the "Copies per Tracking Number".
Click to generate your labels and print the file that appears in a new window. Note: If the new window does not display, you may need to disable your pop-up blocker. See the System Requirements section for instructions on disabling/enabling pop-up blockers.
Note: Label alignment has been programmed for Avery Labels. You may use other labels but the printing alignment may not match the programmed layout.
You may use QR Codes for Tracking the decedent through the cremation process and/or for things like tagging personal effects or as a way to quickly look up a decedent's record.
