Crematories can set up message templates to be available for use to send to case contacts and/or trade partners from their tracking screen from this page. See the Tracking help article for more information on sending these messages.
The messages that you will be available to select from will depend on which case types they are set up for. Message templates can be set up for human or pet cases (if available) and can be set up for sending to clients or trade partners (if available). Click the trash can icon to delete a message template, and click the edit icon to change the text in the template and change which case types it is available for.
Click "Add a Template" to add a new message template.
The message template editor functions similarly to the Obituary Template Maintenance screen- you can click tags on the right of the editor screen to insert them into the message template text. These tags will populate with the case's information. You can enter text around these tags to create a template that will auto-fill for each case and send these messages to contacts associated with the case or to your trade partners from the Ready for Release section of your Tracking screen. Note that you do not need to add the data tags in a template, but if you choose to do so they will fill with information for the case.
