Direct Pet Price Groups

Administrator level users can create and maintain Price Groups for Direct Pet cases on the Admin > Financial Maintenance > Price Groups - Pets - Consumer Direct screen.

Price groups are used to build packages which will be selectable by your end consumers. 

Direct Pet price groups vary from other price groups because they can be filtered by Cremation Type as well as by weight.   

Building Your Price Groups:

When building your price groups, you will add items that are either a static item in the price group, or a selectable item. To add a static item that is always a part of the price group, there are a few options.  

#1 Adding a value: If you add a value to an item, it will be added to the price group at that price.  The box on the right hand side allows you to add any additional notes or details for that line item.

#2 Setting as "Included": If you select the "Included?" checkbox and there is a value, the price group will still include that value, but in Direct Pet it will mask the value rather than show the itemized value.  If the item has a $0 value and is set to "Included?" it will be added to the Price Group with a $0 value, this is useful for complimentary items.



#3.  Setting as "Selectable?": If you select the "Selectable?" checkbox you will see a new value box appear.  By entering a value here, this will allow the consumer to select this item when submitting their request if they choose to do so.

Products:
While most line items will behave as listed above, Products are handled differently.  You can tell which line items are considered Products by the green shopping cart icon listed next to the name.  Products can also be added in a few different ways

#1 Selecting a single product If you would like to add a product that is a part of the price group by default, select the green shopping cart icon, and select the desired item.  You can use the Included checkbox as mentioned before to mask the price if you wish.


#2 Allowing multiple selections If you would like to add multiple products that your customer can select, check the "Selectable?" checkbox and click the pencil icon next to Product Options.  From here you can select as many products as you like and they will appear as a selectable item in this price group.  If you have added photos for your Products in the Products menu, they also will appear in Direct Pet.
